Intel has hired former Palm and Apple VP Mike Bell as vice president and director of Intel's smartphone product development. Bell is a seasoned technology veteran who has been part of the executive management team at Palm since 2007, most recently as the senior vice president of Product Development, where he was responsible for all aspects of product strategy, development, and deployment.
